These terms apply to your use of LakeTripper (laketripper.com), an EVRlakes Digital product operated by EVRLAKES DIGITAL LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them.

Who can use the site

The site is intended for people aged 13 and older.

Lake data is provisional and not for navigation

Lake levels, guide curves, full-pool values and history come from public agencies, including the Tennessee Valley Authority, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Geological Survey. That data is provisional and can be revised, delayed or wrong, and we may make mistakes when collecting or displaying it. Each reading shows an "as of" time, and we flag data older than 48 hours as stale. LakeTripper is not for navigation or safety decisions. Always check official agency sources, posted notices and on-the-water conditions, and follow the instructions of marine patrol, park and dam operators.

Fishing, boating and other rules

Fishing seasons, creel and size limits, licenses and boating rules are set by agencies like the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources (KDFWR) and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA). We link to their official regulations instead of restating them. Check official regulations before you go.

Plan at your own risk

Lake days carry real risks: water, weather, boats, heat and wildlife. You are responsible for your own safety and your group's, including children. Wear life jackets, watch the weather and supervise kids around water. Ramp, marina, beach, campground and business details change, so confirm them with the operator.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission from qualifying bookings or purchases (see the Affiliate Disclosure). Travel, lodging and retail sites are independent third parties. Their terms, prices, availability and policies apply, and we aren't responsible for their products, services or content.

No affiliation or endorsement

LakeTripper is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by TVA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, USGS, KDFWR, TWRA or any business we list, unless we say so. Names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• scrape, bulk-download or republish the site's data or content without our written permission;
• interfere with the site's security or operation, or overload it with automated requests;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.

Our content

Site text, the Tripp the Otter character and artwork, data compilation and design are owned by EVRLAKES DIGITAL LLC or used with permission. Public agency data remains subject to its sources' terms. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Normal linking and quoting with credit to LakeTripper is fine.

Submissions

If you send us a tip or correction, please only send information you have the right to share. By submitting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, edit and publish it. You keep any rights you have in it. We may decline any submission.

No warranties

The site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EVRLAKES DIGITAL LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for trips, bookings, purchases or decisions you make based on the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100 (US). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or trademark, email contact@evrlakes.com with the details and we'll review it promptly.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.

Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
