Privacy Policy

LakeTripper is an EVRlakes Digital product operated by EVRLAKES DIGITAL LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains, in plain language, what information is involved when you use the site.

What the site uses today

Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as IP address, browser/user agent and requested URL, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

No third-party fonts, analytics, ad pixels or tracking cookies. The site uses system fonts, sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Lake data is fetched by our servers from public agencies, not by your browser.

Location. We don't collect your precise location. If we later add a "lakes near me" feature, it will ask your browser's permission first and run on your device.

Affiliate links

Some pages may link to travel and retail partners (for example Expedia, Booking.com through CJ, Amazon or Bass Pro Shops). Clicking one may take you through an affiliate tracking link, and that network or the merchant may set cookies or use referral IDs to attribute a booking or purchase. Their own privacy policies apply. We receive commission reports, not your payment details.

Newsletter (The Weekend Wave)

If you subscribe, you share your email address with us, and our newsletter provider processes it on our behalf to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell your email.

Contact and corrections

If you email contact@evrlakes.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to reply and to fix listings. We may publish a corrected detail, but not your name or email unless you ask us to.

Retention and security

We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe. We delete emails you send us 24 months after we receive them. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Other websites

Links to agencies, maps, businesses and booking sites take you to sites we don't control. Their privacy practices apply there.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you've sent us by emailing contact@evrlakes.com. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

Where data is processed

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

No sale of personal information

We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The site is family-friendly but not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We'll update this page when the site changes, for example when the newsletter, analytics or affiliate tracking go live, and we'll revise the "Last updated" date.
